The WOBS Arrow Trophy Sailing Team

The Arrow Trophy Regatta held in Cowes offered a great weekend’s sailing with generally light breezes throughout and unseasonably warm weather for mid-October.

The WOBs crew consisted of Tom and Nat Holloway, Jeremy Haynes, Peter O'Hea, and Kieran Hunter, plus our guest crew members Joss and Kate Cooke-Priest, whom Tom recruited using all his charm and wit at the skippers’ briefing.

Without the recommended crew of nine, our confidence was ‘tentative’ on the Friday evening as we looked forward to October sailing conditions over the weekend and only five onboard. But with our number turning into seven and modest weather prevailing, we managed 5 races on Saturday and two final races on Sunday...
