In the summer of 2002 Helen Sweetman retired from her post as Matron of Austin House. She had worked at Worth for nearly 45 years. As a mark of this outstanding service to, and care of, boys passing through Junior House at Worth, Andrew Boys, Chairman of Worth Old Boys’ Society, presented Helen with a set of antiquarian ornithology books as a sign of appreciation from all Worth Old Boys.
