London Memorial Service for Fra' Andrew Bertie RIP  - Worth old boys are invited to attend the Memorial Service for Fra' Andrew Bertie which is to be held at 11.00am on Tuesday 22nd April 2008 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton Road, London SW7 1EX - http://www.bromptonoratory.com/.  Cardinal Cormac will preside and Archbishop Mario Conti of Glasgow will say the Mass. 

Mass at St Mary Moorfields, City of London - Worth old boys are invited to join the old boys of Downside and Ampleforth for Mass at 1.00pm on Friday 9th May 2008 at St Mary Moorfields, 4-5 Eldon Street, London EC2M 7LS - http://www.stmarymoorfields.net/.  Mass will be followed by lunch, @ £20 per head, in the Hall below the Church.  Fr Peter Newby, the parish priest at St Marys will be joined by Fr Edward from Ampleforth and Fr Kevin from Worth.

WOBS Class of 73-78 : 30-Year Reunion.  Mickey Morrissey (R'77) and Charlie Hamshaw-Thomas (B'78) are organising a 30-Year Reunion on Thursday 15th May 2008 at the Groucho Club, 45 Dean Street, Soho, London W1D 4QB.  Drinks at 6.30 for 7.00pm.  Dinner is available after the drinks - for which pre-booking is required.  If Mickey or Charlie haven't already made contact, it is because we do not have your up-to-date contact details.  So, if you would like to attend please get in touch with either Mickey at morrissey.homefarm@btinternet.com or Charlie at c.hamshaw@btconnect.com.   And feel free to pass this information on to anyone you are in touch with from this same era!

A Tour of Westminster Cathedral.  Christopher Lamb (R'01) is on the Friends Committee of Westminster Cathedral and has arranged a unique opportunity for Worth old boys to receive a private tour around Westminster Cathedral on Thursday 4th December 2008 at 6.30pm.  The Cathedral, described by John Betjeman as 'a series of surprises' is the mother Catholic Church of England and Wales and contains a series of intimate side chapels, Eric Gill Stations of the Cross carvings and a majestic high altar.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with other old boys while learning more about a magnificent building.  Drinks will follow the tour which costs £12.50 per head.  Payment will be required in advance - please contact Olivia at wobs@wobsnet.org.uk.

WOBS Rugby
Every Wednesday evening - WOBS RFC play Touch rugby in Fulham: 7 pm, Hurlingham Park. Meet in the middle of the 400 m track.
