Worth Old Boys’ Golfing Society 2007/08

Now in its thirteenth year, the Golfing Society is flourishing, with an enthusiastic band of golfers keenly contending in the Spring for the Rose Bowl and in the Autumn for the Silver Salver.

MATCHES FOR THE 2008 SEASON

The dates for the 2008 Autumn meeting is to be advised.

19th April - Worth v Downside will be played at Royal Ashdown Forest.

10th May - The Grafton Morrish inter-schools Scratch Foursomes at Knole Park.

13th May - The 11th Spring for the Rose Bowl Trophy on Tuesday 13th May 2008 is to return to Moor Park Golf Club, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.  Cost for the day is £115. 

The format for the day is as follows :

8.15am : Registration

9.15am : Stableford Competition, full handicap for the Rose Bowl on the West course. 

Lunch in the Clubhouse (smart casual)

pm : Friendly Greensomes on the High Course

Followed by prize giving with sandwiches

Followed by a short AGM (jacket and tie)

early June date tbc - The Russell Bowl Scratch Foursomes for Catholic Public Schools at Woking.
