One of the aims of Worth Society's Networking Forum is to provide support for Worthians at University level who are embarking on the bewildering choice of career and who are looking for work experience and internships whilst at University.
There is, undoubtedly, an untapped wealth of experience among the Worth Society membership which offers significant opportunity to assist both our current pupils and Worthians.
If anyone happens to be sceptical about the recipricol benefit that can be gained from offering a work placement or internship, then we urge you to read the articles written by Martin Green (C'76) at NewSmith Capital and Oliver Rumsey (G'99) at Charles Russell - they should allay your fears!
Moreover, the articles written by Sam Swadling (currently in his gap year before starting University) and from Matthew Scotland (Year 13 at Worth), clearly demonstrate the value and wealth of experience they have gained from their respective placements.
If you are prepared to offer work placement opportunities to Worthians or pupils at the school; or are looking for a work placement, then please do contact Olivia Henley at admin@worthsociety.org.uk.
