Worth Society Careers

Each year, as part of the School's Academic and Cultural Enhancement (ACE) week programme, Worth School holds a Careers Fair for boys in Year 12 (Lower 6th).

A group of speakers comprising old boys, Friends of Worth and parents of current pupils give up a morning to talk to the pupils about what life is 'really like' in their particular career.  The feedback from attendees is always extremely positive, as these sessions give them a real insight into the structure of careers that they might be considering for the future.

As Head of Careers, Duncan Pring is always extremely grateful to those Worthians who participate in these Career Days - helping to make these events especially valuable to the pupils.  In 2007, we were lucky enough to be joined by Nigel Laughton (C'84), Christopher Lamb (R'01), Nick Norton (R'72) and Lance O'Neill (R'74).

However, we are always looking for more Worthians to pass on their knowledge and expertise to the next generation, so please do get in touch with Duncan Pring at dpring@worth.org.uk if you would like to offer your services in the future!
