The Friends of Worth warmly invite you to Worth Day on Saturday 19th June 2010 from 12-4pm on the First XI Playing Field
The Friends of Worth have been supporting Worth School for 25 years and the summer party is an opportunity for members of the Worth community to get to know each other better and to have pure unadulterated fun!
There will be a Hog Roast, Barbecue and vegetarian food on offer; as well as a bar serving Pimms, wine, beer and a range of soft drinks. The School's Jazz Band will be performing and there will be plenty to keep both children and adults entertained.
One of the main attractions will be the F1 Driving Challenge simulator (up to 8 'drivers' can race against each other on one of five international Formula 1 racing circuits). There will be dodgems (with seventeen cars) and a laser clay shooting range, as well as a host of other attractions suitable for all ages; including face painting and a large inflatable slide for the smalls. We will be holding a 'House Tug of War', allowing some friendly inter-house rivalry!
Entry to the event is free and vouchers (for buying food and drink and for entry to some of the attactions) will be available in advance and on the day. Proceeds from the day will be split equally between the Worth 50 School's House Charities.
